Creating a Smarter Digital Foundation for Used Equipment Sales

DEVELON partnered to modernize its Remarketing digital presence through a redesigned public website and a new gated experience for its dealer and lender network. The initiative was designed to improve how used equipment listings are created and managed, while supporting a broader effort to strengthen the resale value of the DEVELON brand.


The Challenge

DEVELON’s Remarketing team needed to replatform its public-facing site and launch a new network site for dealers and lenders, all while maintaining alignment with the broader DEVELON digital ecosystem. The challenge was to reuse components from existing DEVELON sites to preserve brand consistency, while also adapting those components to meet unique content and functionality requirements. The project also depended on custom integrations with critical internal systems, including Salesforce, IRW for machine and owner data, and Access Portal for single sign-on.

The Solution

The new Remarketing sites were built within DEVELON’s existing Optimizely CMS, making it possible to reuse existing components efficiently while introducing the flexibility needed for custom adjustments. Components were organized and clearly labeled to support appropriate use across both sites and simplify future content management. The engagement began with discovery and stakeholder sessions, followed by customer journey planning, sitemap development, user interface design, development, and analytics implementation.

The Impact

The result was a refreshed Remarketing presence that better supports both public audiences and dealer and lender networks, with a more efficient foundation for managing used equipment listings. By combining platform reuse, custom integration, and close cross-team collaboration, DEVELON launched two connected digital experiences that support operational accuracy, brand consistency, and long-term remarketing goals.
