MarineMax partnered to create a new digital destination that better reflects the boating lifestyle and makes the path to purchase more seamless for prospective and existing customers. The initiative focused on simplifying boat discovery, improving personalization, and connecting users more effectively with local dealers and inventory.


The Challenge

MarineMax’s existing website was fragmented and difficult to navigate, with an ineffective boat search experience that made it harder for users to find the right boat and connect with a nearby dealer. The brand needed a more intuitive and engaging digital experience that could better support product exploration and purchase consideration.

The Solution

Built with Sitecore, the reimagined website introduced enhanced search, personalization, localization, and a visual boat-type wizard to simplify the selection process. The new experience guides users through the purchase journey with a boat finder, localized inventory and dealer information, and interactive 3D image galleries on boat detail pages. The design also helped bring the broader boating lifestyle to life through content tailored to local communities, events, excursions, and vacation experiences.
